Junior Supply Chain Coordinator

As Junior Supply Chain Coordinator at GenDx, you help ensure that the materials, components and services we need are available at the right time and place.

In this role, you will work closely with colleagues across Supply Chain, Production, Planning, Quality and Finance. You will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of purchasing activities, while gradually building your knowledge and taking on more responsibility as you grow in the role.

Responsibilities

  • Support purchasing activities for materials, components, services and other goods in line with company requirements.
  • Create, maintain and follow up purchase orders, including quantities, prices and delivery dates.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, confirmations, delivery schedules and any changes or issues.
  • Request quotations and support the evaluation and selection of suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance, including delivery reliability, quality and pricing, and help follow up on deviations.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier information in our ERP system.
  • Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Finance and other teams to help ensure material availability.
  • Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, lead times and order quantities.
  • Help identify purchasing and supply chain improvements and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
  • Follow up on purchase-related issues such as shortages, late deliveries, price discrepancies and invoice deviations.
  • Contribute to improving purchasing processes and documentation as you gain experience in the role.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following:

  • Education: A degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of relevant work experience, for example through an internship, graduate position or first role in purchasing, procurement or supply chain. We are also open to candidates who are just starting their career.
  • A structured and organized way of working, with an eye for detail.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and develop your knowledge of purchasing and supply chain processes.
  • Experience with an ERP system is an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Swedish.
  • Eligible to live and work in Sweden.
  • Residing at a commutable distance from the office.
