To strengthen our team, we offer a challenging position for a proactive and creative Marketing Communications Associate (interim) who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating across teams to deliver impactful communications. 

As Marketing Communications Associate at GenDx, you play a key role in supporting our marketing and communications activities across multiple channels. You contribute to coordinating events at an international scale, creating engaging content, maintaining our digital presence, and supporting all marketing communications. Working closely with the Marketing team, and consulting with other teams within the organization, you help ensure that our messaging is consistent, on-brand, and effectively reaches our target audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in event coordination activities and event-related communication plans
• Support the writing, preparation, and publication of newsletters, emails, and blog posts
• Assist with filming and editing video content
• Help prepare flyers, presentations, and other communication materials
• Maintaining digital presence across social media channels
• Publish articles and pages on the GenDx website
• Working according to ISO 13485 quality standards

Contract duration
This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave, starting per September 2026, with an expected duration of approximately 6–7 months. Depending on business needs, there may be potential for extension.

Requirements

• BSc degree (HBO or university) in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (email marketing, websites, social media)
• Ability to create and manage content across social media channels
• Experience in designing and editing materials in line with brand guidelines
• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills
• Proactive mindset with creativity and a willingness to learn quickly
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Familiarity with WordPress and Salesforce is a plus
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
• Flexibility and willingness to occasionally travel for events and multi-day conferences
• You currently live near Utrecht Science Park or are willing to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance of the office
• Please note that you must be legally eligible to live and work in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship may not always be possible
