Anyone who is 18 – 55 years old, meets the health requirements, and lives in the Netherlands, can register as a stem cell donor via Matchis.

A stem cell transplant has the greatest chance of success if the donor is healthy and aged between 18 and 35. Therefore, you can register free of charge if you belong to this age category.

Please note that if you are between the ages of 36 and 55 and want to join the registry, Matchis asks for a one-off handling fee of 35 euros. These costs will be reimbursed when you end up donating your stem cells.
