Sales Application Specialist

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a driven and motivated Sales Application Specialist
to represent GenDx in the US Mid-South region.

The Sales Application Specialist at GenDx plays an integral role in the sales program from GenDx and GenDx Products Inc. To succeed in this role, you must have a solid knowledge of molecular diagnostics and laboratory techniques, especially DNA sequencing, amplification technologies, and related software. HLA experience is highly preferred. Apart from these technical qualifications, we are looking for a self-starter with a well-developed business sense, excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners and teammates.

▪Organize and perform on-site demonstrations and laboratory trainings
▪Represent GenDx at symposia and conferences, like EFI and ASHI
▪Build and maintain customer relations
▪Provide technical support for prospective or new end-users
▪Process customer information in our CRM system
▪Collaborate with the Commercial Business Development Manager to devise and implement profitable sales strategy for respected territory
▪Collaborate with colleagues from other teams, like Support, Marketing, Product Portfolio, Education, R&D, Custom Lab Services, and Logistics

▪BSc or MSc degree in Life Sciences or equivalent field
▪Knowledge of molecular diagnostics and laboratory techniques, especially DNA sequencing , amplification technologies and related software
▪HLA experience highly preferred
▪Driven, highly motivated and passionate about sales
▪Knowledge and experience with principles and methods regarding showing, promoting, and selling  products or services
▪Tenacious problem-solving skills
▪Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
▪Willing to travel approximately 50% of working time
▪Currently living in the US Mid-South territory
▪Equipped to work from a home office in a representative, professional manner
