Robert Welleweerd B.ASc
Robert joined GenDx in January 2015 after completing his Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences at the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht. During his Bachelor he specialized further in microbiology and finished two microbiological internships. His first internship was a diagnostic internship at the Scheper hospital in Emmen, where he experienced a wide range of different laboratory techniques. His second internship was at the National Institute Public Health and Environment (RIVM), where he studied the viability of T. gondii in raw meat using molecular techniques. Robert is involved in a wide range of aspects of research and development, training, and support at GenDx and is highly motivated to contribute to the best outcome for transplantation patients.
