Lisa Xu B.ASc
Lisa studied Biology & medical laboratory research with a specialization in Biomedical research at the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen and received her Bachelor’s degree in 2021. She did her first internship at the Internal Medicine department of RadboudUMC in Nijmegen, testing the half-life of LPS in relation to Sepsis. She then did a second internship at the Plant Systems Physiology department of Radboud University in Nijmegen, working on the discovery of new marker genes in Arabidopsis thaliana root cap. During the second internship, single-cell RNA sequencing (NGS) was used to discover these newly identified marker genes. Lisa has a great passion for molecular biology and NGS and she came across GenDx. Interested to learn more about transplantations and HLA typing, she joined as an operations technician in 2021. She is enthusiastic to work for the company and contribute to producing qualitative products to improve the success rate of transplantations.
