Roelien studied Social Sciences in Utrecht and specialized in Educational Sciences. This was followed by many years of management and policy development for child welfare and mental health care. During this time, Roelien developed work experience and a variety of talents ideally suited for her position at GenDx, where she started working in 2010. Within GenDx, Roelien manages the administration of HR policies and is responsible for all aspects of employee recruitment and development. She is passionate about supporting personal development of the talented, bright, and driven people of the GenDx team, contributing to a high level of employee engagement. Moreover, she uses her excellent organizational skills to manage many activities within the company. As an MT member, Roelien has the ability to translate business goals in order to drive continuous improvement and solutions regarding personnel and organizational development.
