Before joining GenDx team in the end of 2016, Alina studied Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam, specializing in Persuasive Communication, where she focused on gaining knowledge in the field of Marketing and Health Communication. During her studies, Alina designed an intervention plan for increasing organ donation in the Netherlands, which sparked her interest in the transplant and diagnostics field. The vast opportunities for applying her creative and analytical skills encouraged Alina to start her career at GenDx. As a Marketing Communications Specialist, Alina implements a number of tactics to ensure effective engagement with stakeholders and increase brand awareness and customer loyalty. She is enthusiastic about learning more about HLA typing field and effectively communicating GenDx values to the public.
