To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Technician R&D, experienced in PCR and NGS on various platforms.

The Technician R&D at GenDx, you take on the challenge to devise and carry out experiments to develop and improve our excellent products for DNA diagnostics. You get to work with the latest technologies on various platforms. It goes without saying that you are working very accurately and you see challenges rather than problems. Being a team player with a strong sense of responsibility, you perfectly match with the highly motivated GenDx team.

▪Development of new products and procedures for molecular DNA diagnostics.
▪Improving existing products, protocols and procedures.
▪Analyzing and interpreting results.
▪Organization of the laboratory.
▪Collaborate with colleagues from our Sales and Support teams, regarding training, support, and (on site) demonstrations.
▪ Working according to ISO 13485 standards

▪B.ASc degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
▪At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
▪Highly experienced in PCR and NGS on various platforms, and related analyses software.
▪Experience with liquid handling robots is a pre.
▪Strong collaboration, planning and communication skills.
▪Independent and hands-on attitude.
▪Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
▪You currently live, or are willing to relocate, in the proximity of Utrecht Science Park.
