(SENIOR) TECHNICIANS R&D
experienced in PCR and NGS on various platforms.
As Technician R&D at GenDx, you take on the challenge to devise and carry out experiments to develop and improve our excellent products for DNA diagnostics. You get to work in a highly motivated team, with the latest technologies on various platforms. Naturally, you are working very accurately, and you always see challenges instead of problems.
Responsibilities
▪ Development of new products and procedures for molecular DNA diagnostics
▪ Improving existing products, protocols and procedures
▪ Analyzing and interpreting results
▪ Organization of the laboratory
▪ Working according to ISO 13485 standards
As Senior Technician, you also collaborate with Sales & Support regarding training, support, and demonstration.
Requirements
▪ B.ASc degree in Life Sciences or equivalent
▪ Highly experienced and interest in PCR and NGS on various platforms, and related analyses software
▪ Strong collaboration, planning and communication skills
▪ Independent and hands-on attitude
▪ Good command of Dutch and English (both written and spoken)
▪ You live in the Utrecht Science Park area, or willing to relocate
To be considered for the Senior Technician position, we expect a solid, multi-year professional experience as Technician in Life Sciences, preferably in R&D.
