Custom Laboratory Services

GenDx has unsurpassed expertise in the field of high-resolution Sequencing Based Typing (SBT) of HLA genes.
In addition to our reagent kits and software we offer SBT, both Sanger and Next Generation Sequencing, as a custom laboratory service for research projects to the HLA community worldwide.

Sequencing data will be analysed with our SBTengine or NGSengine software. The final allele assignment will be in accordance with the IMGT/HLA sequence database.

Our SBT service is available for research organisations and laboratories wishing to fully or partially outsource their high resolution HLA typing. This includes, but is not limited to, validation of new alleles. The GenDx laboratory features state-of-the-art equipment, including Qiagen robotics, Illumina MiSeq, Ion Torrent PGM and S5.

For Chimerism Monitoring we use our highly sensitive qPCR based KMRtype and KMRtrack workflow, using ViiA7.

If you have a project in mind or would like to receive more information, please feel free to contact us and we will get back to you shortly.
