Stem Cell Donor Recruitment
GenDx supports Matchis, the Dutch center for stem cell donors, by motivating as many young and fit people to join the stem cell donor registry. In collaboration with Matchis, GenDx organizes an annual stem cell donor recruitment day in the week preceding the World Marrow Donor Day (3rd Saturday of September).

Allele Frequency Net Database
GenDx is a proud sponsor of the AFDN (Allele Frequency Net Database) website. AFND is a very useful tool for researchers as they can search population frequencies of several immune genes such as Human Leukocyte Antigens (HLA), Killer-cell Immunoglobulin-like Receptors (KIR), Major histocompatibility complex class I chain-related (MIC) genes, and a number of cytokine gene polymorphisms. It contains information at allele, haplotype and genotype level depending on the polymorphism.

IPD-IMGT/HLA Database
GenDx is a silver sponsor of the International Immunogenetics Information system (IMGT database), globally used and daily reference for the whole HLA community. IPD was developed in 2003 to provide a centralized system for the study of polymorphism in genes of the immune system. The IPD project was established by the HLA Informatics Group of the Anthony Nolan Research Institute in close collaboration with the European Bioinformatics Institute.
Sports Center Olympos
At GenDx, we believe in the motto of Sports Center Olympos: ‘Mens sana in corpore sano’. Therefore, all employees are granted access to the sport facilities of Olympos, and the costs are fully borne by GenDx. Sports Center Olympos is located at Utrecht Science Park, which is also home to Utrecht University and other top research institutions, innovative companies, and student housing complexes. Together, this mix of science, students, sport and commerce creates a dynamic climate in which people can work and study.
Stadsschouwburg Utrecht
Stadsschouwburg Utrecht is the largest theater in Utrecht. GenDx has been supporting the Stadsschouwburg Foundation since 2017, first as a partner and, since 2020, as a founder.
