New SBTengine® Version 2.13.0.0

We are pleased to announce the release of SBTengine® version 2.13.1.0, incorporating the new IMGT/HLA database version 3.1.0. Improvements include enhanced ambiguity-resolving power by improved GSSP selection and the display of near-matching genotypes in the crucial positions list.

SBTengine users will automatically receive the update, provided the computer is connected to the internet. If you do not yet have SBTengine installed, you can download a trial version here.

High Resolution HLA Typing Teaching Session (Before ASHI)

We will once again be running our ABHI-approved HLA-SBT Teaching Session just before ASHI at the conference hotel, the Westin Diplomat, Hollywood, Florida, on Sunday 26th September. The Teaching Session starts at 9am, will run until 3.30pm, and is designed to provide participants with theory and practice in high resolution sequence based typing. All participants are eligible for 1.05 CEC's/ 7 contact hours of Continuing Education Credits. The course is free, lunch is included but places are limited so please register quickly and pass on the information to colleagues who might also be interested.
